Hello everyone! I hope you’re all having a wonderful day! It’s July!! Well half way through July. We’re past the “omg it’s already July stage”, but don’t worry we’ll be on the “omg it’s August” stage in no time! With it being already being the middle of month, it’s time to share my Ipsy bag subscription! This is my second month with Ipsy and being IMG_8380completely honest, I wasn’t all that thrilled with the June bag and wasn’t really looking forward to the July bag. OH BOY WAS I WRONG! The July bag is awesome! Save to say i’ve used every product this month and 3 have become an everyday staple. So enough rambling i’m just going to jump right into the products!

Before actually getting into the products, can we just take a second to droll over the makeup bag. It’s so adorable like guys it’s an egg! This month I only had two goals. First goal was to get up IMG_8382earlier and make the most of my day. The second goal was to take more time to myself. I am taking 3 classes, working full time, and making YouTube videos. So i’m a pretty busy woman and this month’s bag is all about taking the time to yourself to relax and sleep. Which I can proudly say i’ve been doing all day. Right now I am in a messy bun, oversized sweater and leggings, which is a rare sight for me because i’m always on the go. So today is all about catching up on work cuddled up with a warm tea in my cozy bed. I’m getting off topic- the bag is cute! Okay moving on.

The first product I pulled out of the bag is this Tarte Amazonian clay waterproof bronzerIMG_8383 in the shade “park ave princess”. I was so happy and shocked that a Tarte product would appear in my bag! I have been researching this bronzer and having my eye on it ever since it came out! So i’m just over the moon happy that I get to try it out before I go make the full sized purchase. The packaging is adorable with a nice snake like print on the front. It sucks there isn’t an attached mirror but it’s a travel sized product so we can’t get too greedy.  The formula is so smooth and has that perfect dewy shine on the face. Overall so happy about this product! It’s made it’s way into the everyday makeup bag!

Second product is the Ginger + Gold Illuminating Peach-Gold Blush by Seraphine

IMG_8385botanicals. I’ve never heard of this brand before and was a little skeptical of the blush part of it because it does have some shimmer to it. But oh my goodness when I applied it to the face it just made everything come together. It wasn’t as harsh as I thought it was going to be, it was that perfect amout of shimmer to highlight my cheekbones. I wore this the other day when I w

ent out for patio drinks with my girlfriends and I got complements on my dewy makeup look. I paired this with the Tarte bronzer (see above), and the Becca Opal highlight. Also not bad to mention that it’s vegan, gluten-free, andGMO-free, so feel free to take a bite it’s healthy! (I’m totally joking, please don’t eat this).

Third product I was so confused about. I opened the top to a brush and couldn’t figure out what to do with it…until I realized the bottom part came off. It’s the IMG_8400Chella Tantalizing Taupe Eyebrow Cream. The top part is the brush which comes apart to dip into the taupe cream at the bottom of the tube. It’s very pigmented so be careful when applying this, you only need one dip of the brush to do both brows! It’s very nice in application and has a beautiful natural finish on the brows! It’s a great staple to an everyday no makeup/makeup look!

Fourth product I honestly had no idea what it was (again till I figured out how to open it). It’s the treStique mini concealer crayon in the shade Porcelain. IMG_8392Now this shade is a bit light for me because i’m covered head to toe in fake tan but it works well as a nice brightener. I use my regular concealer under my eyes and over some imperfections and then I apply this concealer on my forehead and nose. It works wonders! It blends nicely with a brush (which I love because some concealer’s suck at that) and really brightens my face. I’m excited to use this product in the Winter when my face is the same shade as a piece of paper.

Finally, the best product to ever enter my skin care drawer is the Puretem Purevera Emulsion.IMG_8396 First of all the smell is amazing! It’s very calming and soothes my skin. I apply this after I wash and tone my face. It’s an aloe infused moisturizer to calm dry and irritated skin. Now it’s summer time and my face isn’t all dry but after putting this on I didn’t realized how dry my skin really was! My skin especially around my nose and under my eyes feel so soft now and it has to be this cream! I haven’t changed anything in my skin routine except adding this in as my final step. I’m so happy about this cream and can’t wait to use this in the winter when my face is 10X drier.

Overall, I am so happy this month! I was so bummed about June’s bag as I only got 1 product that I tolerated, all the other products just didn’t work on my skin or weren’t my right shade. However they really stepped up this month and I am happy to say i’m in love with every product I received this month! If you guys have July Ipsy bag, comment down below if you received any of the same products or different ones! I’ve love to hear to your thoughts! Thanks for reading, and enjoy the rest of your day! 🙂

Stay the beautiful you!

Elizabeth Arden White Glove Extreme Cleanser Review

Hey everyone! Hope you’re all having a wonderful day. I recently purchased the Elizabeth Arden White Glove Extreme’s clarifying foam cleanser from Marshalls. I was super excited to find this and other Elizabeth Arden products (Side note- Marshalls now has some higher end makeup and skin care products. I noticed some NARS foundations, Tarte palettes, Too Face lipsticks and eye liners, and a bunch of other products) and I was pretty pumped to find these things! I told myself I was going in for some muffin tins and chia seeds so I had to justify getting this $12.99 CAN cleanser, but I was running out of my other cleanser, so all was well. I felt strong that day, I wanted a blue Too Faced eyeliner and a few beauty brushes but I resisted.

Screen Shot 2017-03-24 at 4.38.49 PMThe formula itself is a really soft foam that applied nicely. A little bit went along way as I found myself with a lot of excess product on my hands when I done applying. It smells great, not to much like chemicals or perfume which I enjoy in a cleanser. I just splash my face with water to wash off the product and I found that it didn’t slip around into my hairline or down my neck. Wasn’t too drying when I padded my face down with a cloth, but after a few washes that changed.

I had high hopes for this product. I have combination skin, dry in the nose and cheek area but oily on my chinScreen Shot 2017-03-24 at 4.39.37 PM and forehead. The first time I used it, the redness in my face was gone! Like no joke, my skin is so poor that it’s just bright red right after I wash it and moisturize. It was still a bit blotchy in some areas but that’s just my sensitive areas (by my jawline). I used the product for about 2 weeks before I noticed the dry and burning sensation it had on my nose and cheek area. The redness was still gone but my skin hurt to touch. There were days where I wouldn’t wear any makeup and I would have 2 large red marks on my cheeks just under my eyes and towards my nose. I felt my skin stretching when I yawned and I just felt so uncomfortable throughout the day. I stopped using this product and switched back to my Spectro cleanser to help with my dryness.I will say that I did notice my forehead and chin were a lot less shiny! I was happy with how it looked and noticed a rather large difference! So if you have oily skin, this may be the product for you!

Screen Shot 2017-03-24 at 4.39.56 PMOverall, this product was not for me and it didn’t meet my expectations. I didn’t see any difference in my acne or dryness, just made it worse. It did however decrease my redness and oily parts of my skin. Let me know if you have tried this product, i’m interested on your thoughts! Hope you all enjoyed this little post and I will talk to you soon!

Have a great day,

2018 March Beauty Favourites

March has been an amazing month! I went to South Carolina, I met up with some friends who I haven’t seen in awhile, and I’ve been working a lot (which I actually like cause it keeps me busy & my bank account is kept at a reasonable number). After this amazing month I wanted to take the time to sit back and reflect on what products i’ve been loving & using on a daily basis. All the products will be linked & no these products are not sponsored. Enjoy!

The first product that i’ve been dying to share is the Caudlie Beauty Elixir. I’ve owned this spray for about 6 months now. I’ve just come to love it and use it to it’s full Processed with VSCO with fp8 presetpotential. This spray has a very strong tea tree smell and I wasn’t the biggest fan of it at first, but out of no where I started to really like the smell-  I have no idea what came across me but one day it just hit me & I loved it! I know i’m late to the game but I just started applying my foundation with a beauty blender. However when it came to setting my face with powder I found that later in the day I could see the powder setting into my pores and it just didn’t look good. I was getting pretty frustrated and almost went back to the foundation brush, till I gave the beauty elixir a go. I kid you not my makeup has never looked better. My foundation & concealer isn’t setting into my wrinkles or pores anymore! It also adds that nice dewy look to my makeup- which i’m all about cause my face is so dry it absorbs any bit of moisture & oil available. The only negative thing I have to say is that it goes by quickly. I wasn’t drenching my face with it, it was just a simple spray (3 at max) and I moved on. But only using it for about a month or two, it didn’t last as long as I hoped. I grabbed the mini version from Sephora for $22 CAN. The full size is $59 CAN. I want to purchase the bigger version bit that’s a lot of money for a spray….I’m going to give my Mario Badescu spary a go and see if that does the same trick. I’ll keep you posted.

One product that i’ve come back to is the Glossier Stretch Concealer. I’ve been using this product on and off since July. I re discovered my love for this product when I went on Processed with VSCO with fp8 presetvacation a few weeks ago. This was the only concealer I brought with me and it worked wonders on my skin. All I wore on vacation was this concealer, mascara, and a bit of bronzer. I was amazed that this little concealer could cover up my redness, acne scars, and dark circles all day long. It works well with other products and it doesn’t cake up your face. I have nothing bad to say about this product. It also has lasted a long time & still have a lot of product left. It’s $22 CAN and totally worth the price. I want to try more Glossier products. Have you tried any?

Last makeup product to talk about is the Lancome Monsieur Big mascara. I received the mini product in an Ipsy bag back in September and it quickly became my go to product. It gives that perfect length & volume to your lashes without being over dramatic.Processed with VSCO with fp8 preset It doesn’t clump up, or dry out your lashes, and i’ve yet to see it flake. It’s amazing! I can’t get over how perfect this product is for me. This product has trumped my Benefit They’re Real and my L’Oreal Voluminous mascara. $31 is a little expensive for a mascara but it’s so worth it. Even on days where I don’t want to wear a lot of makeup I just apply one layer and it gives me that coverage and visibility of lashes that I need. I hope that last bit made sense- I have blonde lashes so without mascara- my eyes just look naked.

Moving on to skin. I’ve bought a dry brush last year from Marshalls and it was great. It Processed with VSCO with fp8 presethad a nice long handle and it was easy to reach my back, but I couldn’t get past the pain from the bristles. It hurt way to much- I think I lasted a month and was like “no way I can’t do this anymore”. A few weeks ago I was in The Body Shop just picking up some cotton pads and I saw this dry brush for $10. My skin has been saved! This dry brush is so soft, there’s no pain to it- even after my first use I felt nothing compared to what I did before. The handle on this is actually really useful. I can still reach the middle of my back without pulling a muscle. I use this every night before I go to sleep and follow it up with a moisturizer or oil (depending on how lazy & fancy I feel). Dry brushing is great for skin health, great for circulation, and great for removing dead skin. It’s also nice because it’s apart of my night time routine, so now once I get this out my body knows it’s time to relax and get ready to sleep.

My last product I want to mention for this month is the Burberry Brit Perfume. If you’ve seen my “What I bought in America Haul” you know that i’m obsessed with this Processed with VSCO with fp8 presetpurchase. I’ve been getting the free samples of this perfume for about 2 years now. My local Sephora probably hates me, but don’t worry I won’t be bugging them anymore because I got it for $37 !! Ahhhhh!! You know those products that you love so much but could never see yourself spending that much money on it. Yeah that was me for a so long about this product. The packaging is beautiful, the scent is so elegant and feminine, and it lasts all day long. I’m so happy with this purchase and it’s floral scent is perfect for this time of year. I’m just obsessed and happy to have this sit all pretty on my vanity.

That’s all I have to share for the month of March. What are some products you’ve been loving this month? Let me know in the comments down below! I’m sorry that these products are a bit more on the “high-end” side, there are defiantly some dupes to these products, it’s just these are the products that i’ve been loving.

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day!

How To Be Confident in Winter

Anyone else tired of all this snow and dark nights? I know I am. I love wearing layers don’t get me wrong- but having to wear layer on layer can be a bit much. I feel large and not in charge. I find myself getting down and honestly not feeling myself. I knew I needed a change because there was no way I could last 2 more months of this. So here are my 5 tips to staying positive & confident in these cold times.
1) Drink Responsibility
Yes drinking wine & beer is a beautiful thing. I live for Winey Wednesdays but i’m talking about drinking enough water. I stepped up my water game for February and I actually noticed a huge difference in my body and attitude. There are so many ways to get your water intake without actually drinking straight water. My daily water routine would be a lemon and ginger in hot water in the morning, followed by a cup of green tea a few hours later before lunch. I’ll have water with my lunch (sometimes i’ll add some fruit or a cucumber to my water bottle just to spice things up a bit). When I get home from work i’ll have a cup of tea- sometimes it’s just hot water & lemon or a TAZO green ginger tea but regardless it’s warm and nice to know i’m getting more water into my body. I’ll usually have a glass of milk with dinner but lately i’ve been switching it up and having it every other night- the latter night i’ll have a glass of water. Following dinner i’ll have a cup of tea (after my wine of course). But look at that in my day that’s already 5 glasses of water without counting my water bottle I carry around with me all day. Drinking water helps remove toxics from your body and increases your mood
2) Dance like No One is watching.
I love nothing more than turning up the volume, singing to the top of my lungs, and dancing around my room. There’s just something about getting the heart racing and just killing those high notes (not in a good way). I find myself ready to get things done and being more productive after my jam sesh. Even just one song while you brush you’re brushing your pearly whites. It boosts your mood, giving you some exercise, and get’s you ready for your day. Even singing in traffic will get you going- everyone in my morning commute loves my Greatest Showman tribute. You do you and sing your heart out!
3) GOAL !!!!
Everyone who watches my YouTube videos, knows i’m a goal oriented person. From my daily- getting to the gym or walking the dog goals to my writing this blog post goal. Big or small- writing your goals and having something to look forward to makes you feel apart of something and gets you moving forward. Yes I dread going to the gym and yes I hate not being able to walk up/down the stairs afterwards but knowing that it’s something I wrote down on my to-do list makes me feel great. It makes me feel like I have something to look forward to & work towards. I found myself less motivated & less likely to get up if I didn’t have to. Achieving these goals makes me feel like I have my life together thus making me feel more confident.
4) Take a Walk on the Wild Side
Yes i’m talking about getting outside. Call me crazy but it’s my favourite thing to do in the winter time. Even if you’re not about the walking part- just sit outside on your front step or balcony and take a deep breath in and deep breath out. The cold crisp air and quiet sound of winter is so relaxing and calming. It gives me time to get away from my screen and just breathe. I get to regroup my thoughts and walk back inside feeling more connected and feeling more productive. I find I am more confident when I am productive because my thoughts are clear and I’m ready to share my ideas through my blog or YouTube channel because I feel like people will benefit from what I am discussing.
5) Strike a Pose.
Step out your comfort zone. Wear that bright colour dress. Wear those coloured boots with a black outfit. I could go on but regardless wear that outfit you love and strike a pose. While everyone in the office is wearing black or dark tones- you wear your bright pink top under your blazer and be positive. You’ll look bomb and feel amazing- Thus boosting your confidence. Work it baby, you got this !
It’s cold, it’s gross and yes I hate every minute of it but staying true to these things really help me in the winter time. It’s important to stay healthy and take time to yourself during the cold times. Don’t worry spring is almost here but till then take time to yourself and be you.

Lazy AF “Bunny Ear” Cupcakes for Easter

Hey everyone! Sorry i’ve been MIA the past little while, i’ve been super busy with school and just spent my free time putting work into my YouTube channel. Don’t worry I haven’t forgot about you guys, I have a bunch of blog ideas ready to go in the next few weeks 🙂 Today I am back with a super simple and easy Easter dessert! I am super lazy when it comes to baking, I just don’t have the patience to bake something from scratch. So bless Betty Crocker cause she makes my life super easy and makes me look good. We’re making Bunny Ear Cupcakes! Here’s how you make them,

  • 1 Betty Crocker Cupcake mix (I chose Cherry) IMG_7697
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 Vegetable oil
  • 2/3 Milk/Water (I used Water)
  • Betty Crocker Icing (Vanilla)
  • Sprinkles (what ever colour you want the ears to be. Preferably pink but I didn’t have any so I used purple and yellow)
  • Large Marshmallows
  • Muffin cups

Once you have all the ingredients together you’re able to start baking! First take a medium sized bowl and pour the cupcake mix into the bowl. Then mix in your eggs, vegetable oil, and water. After mixing that all together its time to lay out the muffin cups and pour the mixture in. It’s important to fill it almost to the top (but not too close otherwise it will rise and spill over) but having it out a bit is good for icing. Put them in the oven at 350 degrees/ 180 F for about 15 minutes or so.

Yay the cupcakes are done! Now time to let them cool for about 30 mins before you can start decorating. To prep for decorating, you can put the Betty Crocker Icing in the icing bag and choose the nozzle you’d like to use. Then choose your coloured sprinIMG_7724kles and put then in a small bowl.

After your long waited half hour, it’s time to decorate! Apply the icing starting at the outside and working your way to the middle of the cupcake. Once your cupcakes are iced you can start making the bunny ears. To make the ears, take the large marshmallow and cut them diagonally in half. Then take the marshmallow and dip it into the small bowl of sprinkles sticky side facing down. Now place IMG_7729the flatter end of the  marshmallow on the cupcake (placed a little off centre to make that ear look). Now just repeat to add the second ear and you’re done! Do these to the rest of your cupcakes and now you have a bunch of cute little bunnies!

See how easy these are to make and may I add super cute! I didn’t have any pink sprinkles so purple and yellow were my go to. Hope you enjoy this little Easter treat and get you in the mood for spring! Hopefully warmer weather will come soon! If you try these cupcakes please tag me in them on Twitter (@emilykaitlynxo) i’d love to see them!

Hope you all have a great day and i’ll talk to you in my next post! Thanks for reading xoxo,

Top 5 Beauty Products!

Hey everyone, hope you had a wonderful week! I wanted to talk about my all time favourite beauty products that I couldn’t live without! These products are amazing and make my life so gosh darn easy! First i’m going to mention my ride or die Laura Mercier translucent setting powder! HOLY MOLY this changed my life! My concealer actually sits and stays oimg_2816n my face all day, and it even helps with shine! I haven’t tried a lot of setting powders but I don’t know if i’ll ever be able to put this aside to try something else out. It doesn’t keep your face white in flash photos or leave any product on your face if brushed out properly. I bought the travel size from Sephora back in May 2016 and i’ve got a ton of product left! The travel size is $28 CAN and the full size is $47 CAN. Ah it’s just an amazing product, and if I could only suggest one of these 5 products, it would for sure be this one!

Next is my recently purchased Mario Badescu facial spray. It smells amazing, its so hydrating, and it makes my skin so soft and fresh. I spray it on my face when I wake up, I spray it on after applying a primer, and I also spray it throughout the day to keep my skin refreshed and hydrated! So amazing and so affordable! I purchased mine from Urban Outfitters for $9 CAN. Just a lovely product that brightens my complexion and keeps me feeling fresh all day long. Did I mention that it’s hydrating??

My third product is the L’Oreal Lipstick in the colour 800 Fairest Nude. This product is honestly the perfect nude! It brightens and defines the lips while still being subtle! It doesn’t dry out the lips or crack in any bits. Very nourishing and calm. I keep it in my purse for when i’m looking a little dull and does the trick every time! I got mine from Shoppers Drug Mart for $7.99.

Fourth product is the Maybelline Brow Precise eyebrow pencil. This stuff is amazing. I am in the shade blonde. It just makes fixing your eyebrows that much easier! It is so fast and simple to use it is my go to eye brow pencil. Very pigmented and the applicator is just perfect! A little pricy for a drugstore eyebrow pencil. I bought mine from Shoppers Drug Mart for $13.99 CAN. I’ve seen it on sale for $9.99 and even at Walmart for $11.99. Just keep your eye out for a sale!

img_2818And finally my fifth product is the L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara in the shade brown. I love love love this product! I prefer to have my mascara a bit dried out just because I feel I have more control, but this product is amazing. From the first day I applied it to this morning when I put it on…nothing has changed. No clumps! No fall off! No sweat! I use this product when I am going for a “no makeup” look or if i’m hitting the town. It is so build-able that it works wonders! I especially love the curved brush version, it just gives my lashes the perfect length for that natural look. Will continue to purchase and recommend! This product is around $10-13CAN again depends on the sale day!

If you had to pick 5 beauty products that are your absolute favourite, or even just one product that stands out for you! Comment them down below if you’d like. Thank you all for reading and hope you have a wonderful week! xoxoxo

Storing my Makeup!

Hello everyone! Hope you are all having a wonderful week and had a lovely Valentine’s Day. I just wanted to share with you all how I store my makeup. I don’t want to be spending $25-50 on makeup storage containers with holes to store my individual lipsticks (however, very pretty to look it…it’s a bit expensive). So I put together some things i’ve found or purchased from the Dollar Store to make my desk a little less messy.

I’ll first start with my main makeup products. This includes, the boxed makeup like powders, bronzers, blush, etc., along with the makeup in tubes like, mascaras, liquid lipsticks, concealers, etc. To store these, I just use a stationary container that I got from the Dollar Store. The drawers are kept organized and my desk just looks more clean and put together. On top of the drawers I took apart the clear fold down lid and put my lipsticks, hair clip, hair ties, and eyebrow/eyeliner pencils.

Beside my makeup drawers I have two cups that hold my makeup brushes. The one on the left is actually the packaging from an Indigo candle I purchased. I loved the design and I thought it was too nice to throw away. On the right is a pencil cup from the dollar store. I kind of have them sorted by brand of brush but when i’m in a rush I just throw them in which ever cup. Another alternative to holding your makeup brushes is a nice coffee/tea mug! I used to do this with a LifeIsGood “Smile” mug and it worked perfectly! Also was a cute little pick me up in the morning!

Finally, to the right of the cups I have another package that a set of brushes came in, used as a box to hold my palettes, foundation, beauty blender, sprays, and BB cream. It’s just simple, tidy, and out of the way. I kind of wished all my packages matched, but for now it does the trick!

I hope this little post gave some of you the inspiration to organize your makeup or tidy up your desk! Really, these things can be used to store anything! Let me know what you use to store your makeup products.

Thank you all for reading and enjoy the rest of you week! xoxo

Winter SkinCare Routine

The winter is rough…..especially when it comes to my skin. Every winter it seems my skin decides to act differently. Last year I had a lot of blemishes and this year it’s so dry!! For the last few cold months I have been trying out new skin care products. I have finally found a good range to keep up a routine.

I first start by taking off my makeup. I prefer to use makeup remover wipes because I feel i’m not cloggimg_2706ing my pores with the half water/half oil removers (just a personal preference). I use the Kirkland makeup removers and have been using them for a super long time! My roommate in first year got me hooked on these. It’s around $15 and you get 150 wipes! I believe it’s 4 big packs and 2 travel packs of wipes. They are not dry and leave a fresh cooling feel (which i’ve learned doesn’t always happen with other products). After taking off all my makeup, I wet my face with cool water and apply my cleanser. I have been using Spectro Acne Prone Wash. This product is $15-17 which I find expensive for a drugstore cleanser but it works really well! It really gets out the dirt and left over chemicals from my makeup remover. After rinsing it all off with a few splashes of cold water, I pat it down with a dry cloth. It’s important to pat down and not rub so you’re not irritating the skin. After cleaning, I like to take my FirstAidBeauty Facial Radiance Pads and swipe a single pad across my face and down into my neck. It exfoliates and tones my skin.

img_2707Letting those pads settle into my skin, I brush my teeth, floss (okay sometimes I floss), and rinse with mouth wash, I like to add a serum. I use the FirstAidBeauty Facial Repair Hydrating Serum, which oh my goodness is amazing!  It is so hydrating and makes my skin super soft. I just take the smallest amount and wipe it all over my face and neck. Then heading downstairs to either get ready for the day or head to bed I like to spritz Mario Badescu Facial Spray all over my face and then carry on to putting on my Nivea lip balm to moisturize my lips.

This routine has left my skin feeling less dry in these cold wintery months! I absolutely love these products and I hope this little routine blurb helps you in choosing good hydrating products. If you have any products that you incorporate in your routine please let me know in the comments 🙂 Thanks so much for reading….Byyyeeee!! xoxoxo

2017 Liquid Lipsticks Collection

Hello everyone! I am loving liquid lipsticks at the moment and wanted to share the few products I own!  I would love to expand my collection, so if you have any suggestions or personal favourites please comment them down below!

As I have small lips and fair skin I find it difficult to find the perfect “nude” colour (as there are many out there). However, here are some that are working for me and my skin. Below are the swatches of my liquid lipsticks.

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset

From left to right is Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick (Cool Girl) , NYX Lingerie (LIPLI08 Bedtime Flirt), and NYX Lingerie (LIPLI07  Satin Ribbon).

Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade “cool girl”is a beautiful mauve nude. I adore this colour! At first I found it a bit too dark for my skin colour but I matched it with a warm toned eye “look” and it stands out beautifully! The formula just glides on my lips and lasts all day. I tend to grab this colour for a night out rather than an every day colour.

NYX Lingerie in the shade “BedTime Flirt” is a darker pinky nude that really defines my lips. I wear this if i’m running around all day because it’s easy to reapply but fair warning you’ll find yourself reapplying about 2-3 times a day. I do love the shade and it doesn’t transfer as much which I love!!

Last but not least, is the NYX Lingerie “Satin Ribbon” liquid lipstick. I find myself always reaching for this colour if I am I going for a “no makeup- makeup look”. This shade does need a few layers to settle into your lips but other than that it is a gorrggeeous colour!

I would love to get into more soft pinky nudes or maybe even a bold red!! As mentioned earlier, please comment down below if you have any suggestions. Thank you for reading…Byyyyeeee! xoxoxo
